Originally opened in 1913, when its premises actually included a shooting range until well after the end of the Second World War, after which it became purely a social club, although it is still referred to locally as “The Rifle Club”.

Re-built in the early seventies, and recently remodelled, the clubrooms now include a large concert room (with a stage, and a small dance floor, and ample seating), and we also have a games room which includes a snooker table.

A varying range of real ales is offered at the well stocked bar.
