The Community Meals Service

Local meals service providing meal deliveries to people in their own homes. The service provides both hot and frozen meals. The meals have 2 courses: a starter and a main course, or a main course and a dessert. The meals are tasty and nutritionally balanced and cater for a wide variety of cultural and dietary needs. The service offers hot or frozen meals delivered to your home.

Burley Community Library is now owned and managed by Burley in Wharfedale Parish Council and supported by Bradford Metropolitan District Council, and is run by 60 fantastic local volunteers who are assisted by a part-time Library Manager, employed by Burley in Wharfedale Parish Council. The Library Car Park has two disabled/accessible parking spaces. Toilets are available in the library during normal opening hours. ​We now have an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.

COMPUTER FACILITIES
Free and unlimited wifi and work space with chargeable printing and photocopying. Five terminals with free access to the internet and to the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Free access to Ancestry (Library edition) on the Bradford Libraries network (terminals or wifi with own device). Printing and photocopying costs 10p for one black and white A4 sheet. Colour copying costs 50p per A4 sheet. A3 costs 20p for black and white and £1 per colour sheet. Printing also possible using own device via wifi or Bluetooth technology.
