Space for Men to Enjoy in Burley…

BMS meets regularly in the Burley Community Library, next to Grange Park & Opposite the Cricket Ground, on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Who We Are…

Men’s Sheds are community spaces, focused on Wellbeing, providing  activities for men in the local area to connect socially, make new friends, share and learn new skills, gain knowledge, and most importantly they are fun to be a part of!

We benefit from being an incorporated charity, with our
Members right at the centre of what we do, and only together are
we able to have a useful presence and purpose in the community

What We Provide…

• Friendly place to drop-in, for tea, coffee & bacon butties!
• Sharing our knowledge and skills to the benefit of others
• Opportunities for social contact and making friends
• Trips and visits to local places, and further afield
• Interesting talks, demonstrations, slide shows
• Opportunities to volunteer in village activities
• Caring presence in the wider community
• Exercise, local walks, and further afield

Future Plans…

Burley Men’s Shed has become an important social base for men in Burley with a range of ages, and we strive to build on this by linking with other Groups.

BMS continues to work closely with others towards having Workshop facilities available to the Burley community.
