Courtesy of the Burley Local History & Archive Group. Preserving the past for the future. ​It contains a unique collection of artefacts of the history of Burley District.

​In the rear room of the Burley Community Library building is the Burley Archive. Run by the Burley Local History & Archive Group (BLH&AG), a volunteer organisation interested in all aspects of the past of Burley District.

We collect anything of interest – maps, family papers, books, pamphlets, photographs, newspaper cuttings etc. If you have anything that we could use, get in touch via the contact form to arrange a meeting. We’ll make copies of items if you don’t want to gift them.

We carry out original research on the people & places of Burley Woodhead, Greenholme, Scalebor, Stead, Burley in Wharfedale & Burley Moor.
