Walkers are Welcome 

Sunday 26 July: Askwith Moor

12 Mile walk

All are welcome on our walks. No need to book. Dogs on short leads can come if covered by third party insurance. Remember to bring plenty of water with you.

Paul Cryer will lead a 12 mile walk to visit Askwith Moor. 

Meet at Burley Station to leave at 10.00. 

Going along the Goit to Burley Weir, we will cross the stepping stones before taking the bridle way to Askwith. From the village we will climb gently to the top of Askwith Moor to explore some of the high moorland paths.

The return to Burley will be via Askwith and the stepping stones. Please come equipped for a high level walk, some of it being over rough terrain, with moderate gradients and descents.  Bring a picnic lunch and plenty to drink.
