Burley-in-Wharfedale Scout & Guide Group are a thriving joint unit providing facilities and activities for 300 young people from the village each week. We have activities for all ages- our young people have a variety of groups to join with and Leaders have lots of fun too.

If you’ve had any contact with the Scout & Guide movement, you’ll know what a fantastic opportunity it offers children and young people. They do a huge range of things, from art and craft to camping and sleepovers, from learning life skills to going down Gaping Gill. It’s all about making friends, gaining confidence, learning about the world, and having fun – and if the experiences of thousands of Burley people are anything to go by, it’s a great thing to have in the village.
